Ed Curran

Founder and Managing Partner

Mr. Curran is the founder and managing partner and brings over 30 years of management and healthcare industry experience to the company. Prior to founding CCI/CPR-International, Mr. Curran served for over ten years as President and Managing Partner of CPR International, a worldwide retained search firm based in Florida. Earlier in his search career, Mr. Curran served as Executive Vice President/CEO for Summit Group International, a retained search firm based in Atlanta. Prior to his search career, Mr. Curran was Chairman/CEO of AMI (American Medical International) Doctors Hospital in Lanham, Maryland, and Regional Vice President for AMI, Inc., responsible for 37 hospitals and revenues of $1.5 billion. During his management career Mr. Curran also served as President of E.R. Squibb Surgicot Division. He began his career with EMI Medical, Inc. and rose to the position of Worldwide General Manager. Mr. Curran is also an active investor and consultant for numerous early-stage medical device companies.

Azim Jessa

Partner

Joining Curran International with an extensive human resource background gained through his work with Gap Inc, a Fortune 500 "best company to work for", Azim Jessa is a natural fit. He brings six years of experience in recruiting, hiring and mentoring of high quality individuals, as he acted primarily in a Human Resource role, staffing the majority of the Nevada market. Mr. Jessa’s most recent role with Gap Inc. was as General Manager of a location recognized as one of the top fifteen in sales volume company wide.

Preceding his career with Gap Inc., Azim played an integral role in the start-up of the publicly traded internet company, Cityscape.com. While building the brand, his work with sales teams both within the US and internationally gained Azim valuable exposure to global recruiting and international business trends. Locally, Azim is also a highly active board member and instructor for Southern Nevada Officials Association, the largest supplier of sports officials for youth sports in Nevada.

Tom Parrish

Vice President

Mr. Parrish is a former Senior Sales and Marketing Executive with over 30 years of management experience in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries. He has served as Director of Sales and Marketing for a variety of industry leaders such as Johnson and Johnson, Bristol- Myers Squibb and West Pharmaceutical Services. As a Senior Sales leader Tom has successfully managed both small and large sales organizations with the largest approaching over two hundred representatives. As a Senior Marketing Executive, Tom has successfully launched industry leading Brands as well as re-launched historical brands. Additionally, Tom brings a strong Business development background to Curran International. Tom is described by industry leaders as a strong sales and marketing executive who built a reputation as an excellent recruiter and developer of Superior Human Capital. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University and has extensive executive training in all areas of business development. Tom is a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army from 1968-1970.

David Tucker

Associate Partner

Mr. Tucker brings over 25 years of diverse Medical Device experience to the firm. The first half of his career was spent managing Regulatory Compliance and Quality functions for Fortune 50 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark, and Becton Dickinson where he had worldwide Quality and Regulatory Compliance responsibilities. Mr. Tucker has had management responsibilities for Quality and Regulatory functions at both corporate headquarters as well as manufacturing facilities throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.

During the last 14 years Mr. Tucker served as a key member of senior management teams for 6 start-up Medical Device companies. He functioned in Vice Presidential capacities for all aspects of Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Affairs. He is known within the industry for expeditiously securing regulatory body approvals in all major world markets. Additionally Mr. Tucker has extensive experience in successfully solving Quality problems and in resolving adverse regulatory agency findings and punitive actions. Mr. Tucker has also been an active consultant for early and late stage medical device companies in the areas of Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical, and is a member of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) and the American Society for Quality. Additionally he has served on several Boards of Directors for profit and non-profit organizations.
